A ’Feet'ure Film

2011, 15 minutes

When a chiropodist gets under your feet.

The film is down-beat, surrealist, black comedy about a middle aged chiropodist named Dr. Taylor, whose niche passion for feet is misunderstood and ridiculed by the hostile and small minded characters that surround him on a daily basis: his receptionist Angela constantly leaves the phone off the hook, so that patients can't book appointments and she can get off work early (in turn destroying his clinic business). Meanwhile his wife Jill is having an affair with an over-confident, wannabe cowboy called Clive, who visits the clinic and tries to buy the business off of Dr. Taylor, as well as telling him that he's stolen his wife. Once realising that the entirety of his life is being replaced by Clive, Dr. Taylor turns to his only remaining patient, Sheila, an unstable, amateur life coach who helps him to discover new meaning in his work. With a new enthusiasm to treat peoples' feet, Dr. Taylor begins to change the lives and attitudes of people around him through his therapy.
