Alan, a cupid in Heaven, becomes disillusioned with his life and work when he befriends Edgar, his next human 'target'.
A Human Vice tells the story of Alan, a misfit employee of Heaven who feels a closer affinity to the humans he governs than the cupids he lives and works amongst. As Alan's matchmaking success ratings slip, he is given one last chance to avoid demotion to Hell, but recieves the orders to match two friends, Edgar and Danielle. After accidentally revealing himself to Edgar, Alan realises that Heaven and Hell don't matter, it's life that is important.
