Peter Lloyd is a man whose body is at war with the 21st century

Peter Lloyd lives off grid, desperately trying to find a way to escape the terrible impact of his body of the electro-magnetic sensitivity which he claims to suffer. His affliction outs him in conflict with the medical authorities and with local government and his neighbours until he is driven further and further for civilisation into the wildest and most inhospitable places in the British Isles in an effort to mend himself. From his mountain retreat he fights a lonely battle for recognition of his illness and for a 'white' zone, free of electrical interference, where he can build a home.
