A Simple Fracture is a story about memory. Professor Philip Stone is an eminent neuroscientist - now in his seventies - who whilst being interviewed for a high brow television programme goes down a rabbit hole of his own memory and sees for the first time a traumatic and long suppressed event from his childhood in its entirety. As an expert on the workings of the mind Professor Stone is shaken to his core by this revelation and for a moment a lifetimes work begins to crumble beneath him. But as the video rolls and his wisdom is recorded, it is big sister who once again steers him into the clear waters of his conscience.
