A Kafkaesque story of a woman who travels back in time to undo a romantic relationship and avoid its tragic finale.

Mia (Jodie Whittaker) is returning home when she witnesses an old woman leap to her death from a window in her apartment block. Scattered around the body she finds photographs of herself and her former lover Ludwig (Dougray Scott). Spooked, she confronts Max (David Warner), the ageless janitor, who reluctantly allows her access to the old woman's flat. Inside Mia recognizes yet more personal items, in fact the whole flat is strangely familiar. Hurtling back to the comfort of her home, she is forced to face the man who has overshadowed her entire life, the man she must erase from her past to safeguard her future, the man she used to call her lover...to redress a terrible secret.
