Amidst the arrival of an unexpected stranger, an ultraconservative, religious family uncovers hard truths about their boy in mourning.

With the tragic passing of their brother, Mitchel (Noah Urrea), the children of a deeply religious family are at odds with their Baptist parents and grandparents, as they prepare for the wake. Teenage identical twin, Mason (Urrea), tries to reach him through means spiritual, as preteen Molly (Sofia Rosinsky) is clinically attentive to organizing the event to go as planned. The older sister, Megan (Megan Trout), comes home, wanting to be blunt during this difficult time. A time made more difficult with the arrival of a stranger, Jameson, who forces the family to face hard truths.
