His inconceivable contribution towards re-spiritualizing the world will be written in history with golden letters. Realizing that many have not had the good fortune of knowing about Srila Prabhupada’s contribution and example, Bhakti Charu Swami considered how the glories of Prabhupada could be most widely spread. Thus the Abhay Charan Project was conceived to commemorate Srila Prabhupada’s Birth Centennial in 1996. On the 7th of September 1996, the day after the Centennial celebration, the Abhay Charan Series premiered on Indian National Television, giving viewers an first-time glimpse into the enlivening life story of the greatest exponent of Vedic wisdom of our time. Since then, the production continued on location in India, America, Europe, and Africa.
