A youngman's last living day

Alexander, a young man who is involved in acting, while working at a local radio station decides that this day is going to be his last day. He has lost that joie du vivre, everything he does has become an mechanism, he might as well do it with his eyes closed, nothing would surprise him anymore. Unlike most people, that would be exuberant with that tendency to solve every conflict and problem they ever had, Alexander is tired and unwilling to make this day memorable. Is he a coward or a hero?
