Appuntamento ai Marinai recounts the experience of the Second Generation immigrants of Eritrean origin born or arrived to Italy between the late '70s and early' 80s, especially in Milan. This documentary wants to be an intermediary arranging an appointment, where more elements may find and discover themselves: the past and the present, places, pictures, experiences, stories and people. Hence why a rendezvous in Largo Marinai d'Italia, to meet and get to know the characters with their stories; through an audio visual work set to improve the understanding of the reality of foreign communities living in Italy for almost half a century, like the Eritrean one.
