Ava is a short fictional film about an assassin for the government set in a world where everyone must pay tax to survive.

Ava is a short fictional film about an assassin for the government set in a world where everyone must pay tax to survive. This law was put in place to ensure humanity’s survival against over population, a law Ava has put her life on the line for. The film focuses on the encounter between Ava and one of her targets, Thomas. Thomas was once an assassin like her, who discovered tax law is corrupt and used for the governments political gain. The film discusses whether the system, as inhumane as it seems, has proved it works. Is it worth covering up the truth for the benefit of humanities long term survival? Or is it the right thing to do, exposing the corruption? Knowing it may endanger our planet. This film has an incredibly talented crew behind it. Each member has been carefully selected with professional experience in each of their respected fields. This project is ambitious and exciting. It will be submitted to various festivals across the country and possibly abroad.
