Awfully Deep

2009, 15 minutes

Drama/Comedy

Since the day they were born, an upper middle class family (father, mother and son) have been living with everything a family could wish, a perfect existence filled with the finest material items and an almost choreographed routine. Then, one day and without warning stinky, brown, doughy 'stuff' starts appearing outside their expensive and luxurious home. Day by day the amount of this 'stuff' increases, and despite the son's pleas to get their hands dirty and clean it up, the parents simply tackle the problem through more consumerism as cleaning up the outside world is "someone else's job". Unfortunately their insistence on ignorance only makes things worse, until they breach the point of no return.
