Hannah's solitary life in a zombie apocalypse is disrupted when a boy appears in the window opposite

London, 5 years from now. Hannah is living a solitary life in a zombie apocalypse. She has lost her hasn't seen a living soul for months, her life has developed into a monotonous routine that values survival above everything else. This routine is disrupted when she spots a boy, Noah, in the window of the building opposite one day. The pair start to use handwritten paper signs to communicate with each other. Noah wants to attempt to cross to her building, but she refuses, telling him that the crossing is too dangerous. As the friendship develops over a few months, Hannah slowly begins to feel more human. One day, Noah isn't at the window when he usually is, and Hannah notices a zombie heading into his building. So she decides to break from her survival at all costs attitude, and risk everything for another person.
