Big Winner is a sort of absurdist dry comedy

It's the near future and an asteroid is coming to destroy Earth. Humanity is doomed except for the small selection who can pay for a ticket on the only ship to Mars. Martin dreams of a ticket off planet in order to follow his ex-girlfriend to the stars. Along the way he fails a job interview, meets an old friend who is using the apocalypse to pick up girls, his housemate commits suicide, and he meets another girl who is stuck on Earth. But will he get that ticket to leave on the Ark?
