A transgender boy celebrates his birthday in online games away from bullying at school.
Birthday Boy is a short film about a Transgender teenage boy named Alex. He chooses to celebrate his 16th Birthday with digital friends within an online game. It's there where he feels that he can be his true self. Although he has come out as Trans to his family, who embrace him, he still attends an all girls school that they have invested their savings into. At the school Alex is severely bullied. On the day of his birthday things take a turn for the worse.
