Set in Victorian England at the turn of the century, a man finds himself kidnapped by a mysterious cloaked woman and her young protégé. To his horror, he discovers they are vampires. While puzzled initially at his abduction, the truth of his linkage to the world of the undead becomes clearly apparent, that blood must be spilt to satisfy their bloodlust.
