A double bassist on the run from the mafia.

Ed Green is the double bassist in a small-time jazz trio. They're talented, but going nowhere leaving Ed disillusioned and bored. After yet another performance to no one who cares, Ed steps out for a cigarette and ends up taking his chances, experiencing much more than he bargained for, on one very Blue Blue Night.
