Prejudice in the future turns into violence

Set in a traditional pub in the future, Aston, (main character) voices his prejudice about Breathers' to his friend Graham (pub lord) whilst waiting for his friend Dave to arrive. A young man (a Breather - able to breath in toxic atmosphere normally when outside) is sat at the far end of the pub. His frustration and anger (about attacks on people like him, Graham and Dave who have to use breathing apparatus when outside) builds into violence as he attacks the young man sat in the pub - when he fears for the worse re: Dave not arriving on time. Dave arrives at the end of the story to witness aftermath on the attack.
