Jared has an out of world experience that changes his life from one extreme to the next

Jared, recently divorced, suffers from depression. When about to kill himself, he hears a strange noise from the other room. A strange figure is on his TV screen, speaking to him. Suddenly the world turns black and it's up to Jared to save the life of his fallen angel, or at least, so it seems.
