A young woman investigates the suicide of a a man who's body she finds and discovers some things about herself.

Depression is a silent and invisible killer. Taking a multitude of forms, it afflicts almost one in ten of us at some point in our lives. It affects many more. The friends, family and partners of those who suffer under depression are damaged by it too. Buzzkill is a short film about depression. It’s about the invisibility of the disease. Its about what happens to the people who need help and don’t receive it. The film follows the story of Justin, a man who lacks the help he needs to fight depression and takes his own life. And Emily, a woman who discovers his body and is compelled to find out why. In doing so, she comes into the realisation of her own illness.
