By Hook

Bittersweet fairy tale.

I am currently casting 'By Hook' for writer and director Laura Evers Johns which is to be entered into the 2010 East London Film Festival. The four main characters in the project are a male fish monger, his nemesis who owns the shop next door, her lumbering son and a beautiful mermaid. The film will be shot in colour and set in very much it's own time and space.
