The film is centred on a girl who, the audience is led to belive, being held hostage by two kidnappers.

'Elizabeth suffered from domestic violence in her household as a child. After trying to tell people to seek help with the problem of domestic violence at home, nobody would believe her because her father is a pillar of authority in the community as he is a senior police officer. Due to her home problems she did not succeed at school however she excelled in artistic subjects. After finishing school she met a man who was kind to her, who she treated as an escape from her troubles at home and she moved in with him. After a few months, he got her addicted to drugs and to fund her habit he convinced her to become a prostitute. He became her pimp. Several times throughout the ages of 18 – 23, she attempted to attend rehab to kick her habit however with the high temptation at home she never succeeded. Through all her drug abuse she developed a mental illness which led her to the mental institution.'
