It is the year 2028. This film follows Richard Gold, CEO of 'Azure Pharmaceuticals'. They are a medical company who create and test drugs designed to enhance human performance. Their most recent project, which began at the end of 2027, was work creating a performance enhancing drug designed to be used on people who were nuisances to society, or criminals.
