Edoardo, a successful composer and a man of great personal charm, at loggerheads with his own country and own life, takes refuge in Spain, chez his friend Emilio, ex-husband of his cousin, and the hard-drinking and fun-loving owner of a “ganaderia,” a ranch, who lives in a small and tranquil provincial town. The ideal place to get away from it all, regain one’s balance and inner harmony and - why not? - even find the spirit to look after a small amateur choir....
