When his gang are targeted and killed by upcoming Dublin crime boss Danny Quinn, Ger Finnegan is forced to flee Dublin to avoid risking the lives of him and his family. 1 year later he is visited by his father-in-law who informs him that his wife is dead. After the death of his wife, Ger no longer feels he has any reason to stay away, and so he returns to Dublin for revenge on the man who forced him into exile. Starting from the bottom, Ger builds a gang and starts to hit back at Danny. He kills his men, steals his shipments and refuses to back down, putting him on a collision course with his enemy. Eventually the rivalry reaches breaking point, and their respective gangs will have to shoot it out to see who will take control of Dublin.
