A man's past comes back to haunt him

A man breaks into a bank vault looking for a particular safe which he believes to hold a diamond necklace. Upon opening the safe, he finds an envelope with his name on. After opening the envelope he finds information and pictures of himself, but only moments before he is knocked unconscious by someone with a hammer. On awakening, his confusion turns to fear as he sees his capturer has tied him up. As she leaves him in the vault to die, she has had her revenge. It flashes back to a court room. A woman crying as her attacker is released without charge for cutting down her face with a knife.
