Hard hitting film about homophobic bullying.

Denial is part of a series of commissioned films for the critically acclaimed ‘It’s Not OK!’ programme, devised for Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture year. The film follows the story of teenager Mark who is bullied by a group of boys in school who believe he is gay as he looks different and dresses differently to them. Despite being urged to report the incidents which take place, Mark refuses to alert anyone to the issues, resulting in tragic consequences for one of the young people involved.
