"Didactic" is an autobiographical documentary that aims to tackle the concept of family and it’s resilience in times of turmoil.
The values of chaos and order play prominent roles in the piece in the hopes of dissecting a crippling family tragedy that has left the members of a family broken and yearning for closure. The film also incorporates elements of observational filmmaking as well as poeticism as different perspectives revolving around this singular event coincide and contrast one another - the Rashomon effect.
