DogMum is a non for profit artfilm depicting a number of dream worlds which are interconnected by shared themes, exploring human interactions and shared traditions/ rituals across the multicultural and diverse landscapes of Great Britain. The film is a collection of visual materials, including both improvised and scripted performances which combine elements of theatre, film and music which make strange events feel casual, and casual events feel strange. The film is a way for us all to re imagine our everyday lives from a fresh perspective, finding the beauty, magic and humour in what we all take for granted. In the end each of these seemingly incoherent shorts come together in a finally where all the actors and props float in a bed of water together showing the interconnections between people, place and concept.
