Dogs Aren't Cats is a dark comedy about a family who, when their eldest son dies in an accident, decide to hire in a trained replacement. In the short we follow the family after the accident, struggling to come to terms with their grief, as they decide to approach the Family Replacement Agency to find a replacement. Into this awkward and tense situation comes a trained new 'son'.
