Doubt is a one location short film dealing with the idea of the antagony between family and professional career.

Doubt is a one location short film dealing with the idea of the antagony between family and professional career. The film shows the exchange between Jane, a headhunter who has just been promoted, and Anne, a nurse who is expecting a baby. The story is inspired by Ernest Hemingway's famous shortest of short stories "For sale: Baby shoes. Never worn.” Jane is in her late 30s. A businesswoman, independent and strong-willed, Jane is focused on her career and her professional fulfillment. In terms of style and acting, we have been very much inspired by social realist films such as I, Daniel Blake by Ken Loach; Two Weeks, One Night by the Dardenne brothers; and Death of Mr. Lazarescu by Cristi Puiu.
