Daniel just wants an honest, sober appraisal of how he kisses. Ale is unconvinced. Is a kiss between friends ever 'just a kiss'? What was meant to be a quiet night in doing laundry quickly becomes a thorough deconstruction of Ale and Daniel's friendship in this Mexican adaptation of American playwright Mark Harvey Levine's short play 'The Kiss'. Starring Mexican actors Ana González Bello (Communion, Spy) & Roberto Cavazos (Rush, Doctor Who) and directed by Mexican up-and-comer Carlos G. Dávila, 'El Beso' is an honest look at the ridiculously complicated nature of friendship across the gender divide.
