A barmaid in a Newcastle working men's club reflects on her having to give up her baby.

A DJ is setting up his sound equipment/mixer etc in a working men's club and asks a passing barmaid to pick up a microphone on stage and do a sound test for him. When she asks him what she should say, he replies 'whatever is on your mind'.
