A long suffering performer in the Manchester parade/festival is under pressure to get a 'real job' from his father. Getting this job seems to make sense but it isn't what Brian wants, this decision makes Brian question his actions and the very nature of what he wants. Is it better to give up what you love for what is expected of you?
