Two guys + One Tent = Weird weekend!!

A new dark comedy feature film written by Patrick Lawless and Patrick Coyle. Produced by Darren Barber and Nicola Paton. Directed by Patrick Coyle. Richard Digweed is a teacher - bullied by the students in his class, inflicted with a sex ban from his wife Sarah and to top it off he's agreed to a weekend of camping and male bonding with his future slob of a brother in law Buck. Richard just can't be firm or put his foot down to anything or anyone. Buck is an unemployed, carefree manchild who enjoys life and what it has to bring, especially tinned hotdog sausages - and romps with Richard's sister Mel. He's probably Richard's least favourite person in the world. When Buck takes Richard away on his stag trip camping in the Wiltshire countryside, the result is one wacky and weird weekend that neither of them will forget in a hurry. Based on the new Shane Meadows/Warp Films 5 Day feature style: Five-day features are designed to encourage first-time filmmakers. The concept is inspired by Dogme but a bit lighter on the super-strict rules. The only rule with five-day features is that you have to make them in five days: if you want to spend £10 million or a penny that's fine; if you want to use lights, if you want to make Star Wars or a kitchen sink drama, that's fine. At a time when digital technology has made filmmaking a more egalitarian pursuit, lo-fi is the new hi-def and YouTube gives easy access to 15 minutes (or one million hits) of fame, it may seem old news to suggest that anyone can make a feature. The first block of shooting took place on the 7th-9th of August. We have two of our five days still to come. Stay tuned for more info!
