The loneliness of elderly people
Arthur, a widowed elder is accustomed to his mundane routine until the sudden death of his sister Joy. The absence of his only family member causes disruption and lack of control in Arthur’s now not so mundane life. As the elder attempts to deal with the grief, Joy’s carer, Clair, tries to bring back light into his life by passing on Joy’s beloved dog as her dying wish. Reluctant at first, Arthur refuses to accept, but soon realises he needs part of joy back into his life.
