Finding love for the first time

After her husband's death, Mirabel finally plucks up the courage to follow what she desired most throughout her life, to fully be herself and to be with another woman. Through an ad in one of her magazines, Mirabel arranged a first date. But the day they are supposed to meet it seems as if everything that has kept Mirabel from living out her sexuality through her entire life crashes down on her to prevent her from going. Mirabel's inner doubts and struggle show through the reappearance of her catholic's school nun whispering that Mirabel would be committing a sin, and her dead father who warns to give her good threshing if Mirabel behaves badly again. To top it all, her boiler breaks down, the plumber can't make it on time, and her grandson's babysitter canceled on her daughter, who doesn't understand why Mirabel can't take the time for a family emergency. Mirabel rushes to the agreed cafe to find that the other woman is just about to leave.
