When she meets Felix's rival Heinrich, a handsome German doctor, Sabine becomes entangled in an obsessive love triangle. Unable to resist the lustful magnetism of Heinrich she falls deeper and deeper under his hypnotic spell. Sabine soon discovers the respectful world of eye surgery is a cover for a sublime underworld of ancient rituals and bizarre ceremonies. Ignoring Felix's warnings she strays further into the depths of the sinister cult until she comes face to face with a force of pure evil. Tempted by the promise of unlimited power but terrified of the sacrifice she must make to gain it Sabine is soon forced to make the ultimate choice between her demented desires and her sanity.
