Maxi (Javier Cámara) is a chef, restaurant owner of design, Xantarella, bidding to win a Michelin star but going through some financial difficulties. It helps Alex (Lola Dueñas), an maitre'd couple desperately seeks. Maxi long since out of the closet and declared his homosexuality. He left behind his family, a wife and two children he has not seen in the past seven years. The death of the former does have to take care of two children who are unfamiliar to you. At the same time life gets in Maxi and an Argentine footballer Alex (Benjamín Vicuña), Horacio, who pretends to be heterosexual when in fact he is gay. The film is set between the love triangle between Maxi, Alex and Horacio, parental responsibility and destiny Maxi Restaurant
