FUTURE GOT NO PAST is a story full of depression, regret and frustration, but ultimately it is a story of forgiveness and salvation, an open reflection on the human soul by writer/director David Cordon.

Summer 2000. SAMUEL (19) searches for a reason for his existence but the claustrophobic circumstances he finds himself in prevents him from finding any answers. ANDREW (49), SAMUEL's father, drunkenly calls his son most nights seeking for redemption from his past sins and later LOUISE (37), his mother, collapses in SAMUEL's arms when she hears that one of her brothers has died. SAMUEL knows this will be the beginning of another spiral into depression for his mother and feels stuck: he knows he will have to keep the truth about his dead uncle, ANTHONY (25), from her forever. Meanwhile, SAMUEL feels a need to try to find a way to help his friend TIN (21) escape with him. SAMUEL and TIN constantly contemplate life asking themselves the same questions, but day to day concentrating on facing anything life throws in their way.
