This short (~15 minute long) art video tries to find new ways of mapping the relationship between western consumption and new tech labor, and Chinese industrial labor. It will be shot between Shanghai, China, and Birmingham, England through 2019, and premiere in 2020. It is related to a larger body of work – Pink Slime Caesar Shift - itself based on a speculative proposal to embed secret messages in food networks to help with labor organizing amongst workers in South China.
