Hannah Green is a homeless girl who escapes her urban world for the day and takes on a suburban life.
Hannah lives hand to mouth on the streets of London, begging for change from passers by. Instead of spending the little money she gets straight away she saves up for a train ticket to the suburbs. Hannah seeks out an empty home and finds a way in. For a day she enjoys the comforts of the home as it it were her own. Once she has helped herself to a shower, food, new clothes and jewelry she heads back to her street spot on the street. At the train station she bumps into a woman, sheepishly apologises and carries on. The woman turns out to be the owner of the home Hannah spent the day is who is mortified at the loss of her jewelry.
