LGBT Film. Alison works as a cleaner in a South London Hairdressing Salon. She is heavily bullied by her boss (Nat) and by her colleague (Lisa). When one night, whilst watching TV, her lifetime hero, 1930s star and singer Betsy Detreece (played by Lorraine Chase) magically appears in her bedroom, her life will suddenly be turned upside down.
