A romanticised view of contemporary London, told through the eyes of Elah, a twenty-something afropolitan caught up in a love triangle.

Elah is a quirky afropolitan working in a bookshop. Content in his easygoing life of lazy days, sporty chums and destructive girlfriends, Elah is unprepared when his perfect woman enters the bookshop one day. Leila provides a transcendental experience, amongst the normality of his London life, which Elah never thought possible and their friendship leads to love. Now his only problem is coming back down to reality. Elah must deal with an increasingly depressed-artist girlfriend, a bookworm colleague with a Bronte novel-like infatuation for him, and a group of friends with nothing but bad advice and equally unconventional love lives. Just when he thought life was about to get easier...
