June, a mother suffering from severe postpartum depression struggles with reality and imagination and finally decides to take control of her life.
Unhappily married, June is unprepared for the birth of her first daughter, Beth, whom she imagines to be Aaron's(her husband) sister due to severe postnatal depression. Facing the imaginary 19 years old sister who is actually a 3-year-old child, this huge difference makes it very difficult for June to get along with Beth. Especially in her eyes, Aaron and Beth's relationship is too ambiguous. This has caused June to build up emotions over a long period of time as she tolerates. And June, whom no one can talk to in life, always talks with her imaginary best friend Carol. The idea of having her life back in her own hands, rather than tolerating Beth's presence, lingers in June's mind. In the end, when she finally thinks she's seen Aaron and Beth cheating on each other, she can't help herself. When in fact Aaron is just holding baby Beth and feeding her. June finally chooses to fight for herself and trying to get back the life she wants. and it becomes clear to the audience that Beth and Carol are only living in June's imagination.
