Home Sweet Home is a hard-hitting, dramatic short film that combines taut tension, a love story and real-time action as it plays on a fear and paranoia we've all been prey to: having to deal with intruders in our own home. Mark and Alison are an engaged, affluent couple working on a 'Grand Designs' project to create their dream home: one night, shortly after they've moved into the factory floor they're renovating, their dream turns into a nightmare. This film follows ten minutes of real-time action from the moment they wake to hear people breaking-in. As we follow their desperate attempts to protect their dream from the intruders, (who see them as nothing but a pair of posh city rats), we see how thoughtlessly and how brutally something beautiful can be destroyed.
