A Chinese student comes to stay with a couple in the UK
Shuyuan, a 17-year-old Chinese student, has come to the UK to further his education. While here, he is staying with Lewis and Sabrina, a young couple trying to make ends meet. They are grateful for the money renting the room will bring in, but while Lewis is friendly and amicable, Sabrina is cold and unresponsive. Shuyuan is aware of this, and tries to get Sabrina to accept him throughout the course of the film. Just as she's starting to have a change of heart, she discovers that Shuyuan has had enough and left a note explaining he's leaving.
