A couple with special powers meet at a pub and pour out their sorrow to one another on their way home because they have been hiding their powers.

Lonely JOE and shy CONNIE are dragged to a bar by their respective best friends for a blind double-date. The set-up is unsuccessful until Joe and Connie are left alone, and discover that they in fact share the same magical ability to see a few minutes into the future. Shocked to find they aren't alone in the world, the pair escape the noisy bar to go for a walk. They bond over the troubles and isolation that come with their special gift. Strolling past a trio of street buskers, the pair have fun inventing a song and dance on the spot, since they already know what the other is going to do and sing next. As they imagine their perfect future together, their musical number builds to a passionate kiss. Walking on, the pair admit to having a vision that their union won't last. Reluctant to part, they agree to go on three dates, even though they can't forget what will happen on the fourth.
