A young man experiences an unusual day which leads him to an extraordinary discovery.
Alice and son James return to their family home in the countryside after surviving a tragic car accident, killing husband and father Kevin. Alice's life is then turned upside down after she makes a shocking discovery. The narrative intercuts between two days. The first marks the beginning of Alice’s emotional downfall as she discovers every mother’s worst nightmare. The second depicts her inability to pick up the pieces and move on from the tragic events she has experienced. This is a profound story of a mother’s difficulties in dealing with inescapable grief.
