Two actresses show up for an audition, but the 'stage manager' doesn't seem to know anything about the production and there's no sign of the director. While waiting to be called, the actresses engage in a battle of nerves and one upmanship with each other, culminating in confusion when the stage manager walks out, leaving them to wonder if they have come to the right place after all.
