After receiving surgery to remove a tumour from his brain John starts suffering from paranoid delusions brought on by an infection that occurred during his operation. These paranoid episodes cause John to hallucinate that his wife, Emily, is having an affair with his brother, Byron. This leads John to make a devastating decision.
